Some days in real estate are filled with paperwork, emails, and planning. Other days look a little more like sunshine, quiet neighborhoods, and a four-legged assistant named Leroy.
Leroy and I spent the afternoon hanging door flyers to invite neighbors to our upcoming open house. The idea was simple: pick your neighbor and join us. No pressure—just an open invitation to be part of what’s happening in the neighborhood.
Even without stopping to chat, there’s something meaningful about being out in the community. Walking the streets, seeing the homes, and being reminded that every house is part of a bigger picture. These neighborhoods aren’t just places on a map—they’re where lives unfold, routines form, and memories are made.
Open houses aren’t only about showcasing a property. They’re about welcoming people in and creating space for connection—whether that happens through a conversation, a wave, or simply knowing you’re invited.
And while Leroy didn’t get to meet everyone, he was happy to be along for the walk, keeping me company and reminding me to enjoy the moment.
Because at the end of the day, a house is just a structure—but community is what makes it feel like home.
