A Life That Keeps Me Grounded

There’s something about being outside, walking alongside a horse, that brings everything back into perspective. It’s quiet, steady, and grounding in a way that’s hard to put into words—but something I’ve carried with me for years.

Horses have always been a big part of my life. They’ve taught me patience, discipline, and how to stay steady even when things feel uncertain. It’s not always easy—there’s early mornings, long days, and moments that push you—but that’s where the growth happens.

Now, it looks a little different. It’s less about competition and more about enjoying the time, the connection, and the calm that comes with it. It’s where I go to reset, clear my mind, and take a breath when life gets busy.

And more often than not, Leroy is right there with me. My long-haired Dalmatian has a way of making every moment a little more fun and a little less serious. Whether he’s tagging along while I’m out on the property, running around with endless energy, or just staying close by my side, he’s a constant reminder to slow down and enjoy it all. He brings so much personality into my everyday life, and honestly, things wouldn’t feel the same without him there.

Family is at the center of everything for me. I’m very family-oriented, and some of my favorite moments are the simplest ones—sitting around the table, playing board or card games, laughing, and just being present. In a world that moves so fast, those moments of connection mean the most. They’re what keep me grounded and remind me what truly matters.

Life moves fast, but having things that bring you back to center makes all the difference. For me, it’s this—time outside, the connection with my horses, Leroy by my side, and being surrounded by family.

Love where you live. 🤍
